This warm-vintage Riesling enters with delicate aromatic wisps, moderate weight and softer acid from a lusciously ripe year. Reminiscent of Turkish Delights, candy corn and fresh green apples, there is a great fruit cocktail aspect to the palate, focused on red cherries. Back-end juicy sweetness adds length, flavor and persistence. With some time in bottle we will definitely have additional evolution as the wine continues to open-up and shows the ageability of Riesling and Ribbon Ridge’s growing region.
