2016 Chehalem Reserve Pinot Noir 1.5 L

This wine is dense, as it should be for a Reserve. Dark blue and black fruit is found in the glass along with brown sugar before evolving into black tea and tobacco. The tannins are initially big and fill the entire mouth. But the long-lasting finish shines. The big mouth feel develops into a long, silky, vibrant ending that intrigues you to go back for a second, third, fourth visit.
