Located on a steep and terraced vineyard in the Columbia Valley AVA, these wines were planted in the late 1800s by an Italian stone mason. Abandoned in the mid-twentieth century, winegrower Lonnie Wright discovered the vines in the early ‘80’s and cultivated their history. A beautiful vibrant garnet color, the aromatics are juicy blackberry, bramble, and cigar box. The palate is elegant and long, with plush tannins and flavors of marionberry and baking spice. This wine is just a baby, and it will only get better with time.
