TASTING NOTES FROM THE WINEMAKER

Earthy, spicy, and flush with ripe red berries, our 2021 History Red Blend is vibrant and mouthwatering. Notes of huckleberry, black pepper, cayenne, and red clay come through on the nose, while the palate is long and bright with eloquent tannins. There is a hint of ferrous minerality that draws the wine to a complex, lingering finish.

VINTAGE OVERVIEW

The 2021 growing season was warmer than average, with a dry heat throughout the summer. In the Columbia Valley, this resulted in the fruit being ripe earlier in the season, giving us grapes full of vibrant and focused flavors.
