2019 Corral Creek Vineyard Riesling 1.5L

WINEMAKER’S NOTES

The aromatics of our 2019 Corral Creek Vineyard Riesling are deep and complex, evolving from fresh white flowers to tropical fruits laced with sweet candied lemon to Turkish delight back to floral perfume with just a hint of petrol lingering in the background. The palate is initially tart, but it advances into a juicy, mouthwatering finish. This Riesling will pair exceptionally well with soft cheeses or spicy food.

VINTAGE OVERVIEW 

The growing season from bud break through harvest all fell within days of the 2013 vintage. Cool, wet weather arrived in early September, but by late September and October, conditions returned to sunny days and brisk nights. The resulting wines are lower in alcohol, with delicate flavors and beautiful nuances. The 2019 vintage will be one we remember thanks to the tremendous character and charisma in the wines.
