WINEMAKER’S NOTES

Risdall Ranch is one of the pioneering vineyards in the Willamette Valley. The maritime influence on this vineyard makes this site an ideal location for cool-climate varietals, producing delicate and expressive Pinot Noir from vines that are more than 40 years old.

Big, bold aromatics of sweet tobacco and Pacific Northwest forest floor leap out of the glass. The palate is delicate with a soft, silky texture that is complemented with black cherry and currant flavors. This wine is perfect for a night in with your special someone. Delicious now, this wine will continue to evolve in the bottle for years to come. 

VINTAGE OVERVIEW 

The 2017 vintage was a classic growing season in the Pacific Northwest. The cool, sunny temperatures during harvest allowed the fruit to have a long hang time and develop rich flavors.
